Homemade Lemonade with Honey

Lemonade is the ultimate summer refreshment !!!  Make fresh squeezed lemonade all summer long with this perfect recipe.

INGREDIENTS

200 gr/ 7.05 oz. white sugar
150 gr./ 5.30 oz. honey
1700gr. / 60 oz. water
400 gr. / 14.1 oz. lemon juice
fresh spearmint  leaves (optional)
Few drops of lemon essence (optional)
1 lemons, , sliced for garnish (optional)

This lemonade has the perfect amount of sweetness for me, but you could adjust the sweetness or lemon flavor to taste.

 INSTRUCTIONS

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 200 gr./ 7.05 oz. water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Add spearmint leaves and allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled.

Remove seeds from lemon juice, but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together chilled syrup, lemon juice, lemon essence and remaining water.
