Peanut Butter Chocolate Biscuit Cake

This amazing Peanut Butter Chocolate Biscuit Cake is super easy to make and super tasty, perfect for any occasion!! Your kids, friend and family are going to love it.

INGREDIENTS

For the cake

100 gr./ 3.52 oz. peanut butter of your choice
250 gr./ 8.82 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
250 gr./ 8.82 oz. milk chocolate, chopped
250 gr. / 8.82 oz.  heavy cream
2 tablespoons honer
400 gr. / 14.10 oz. digestive cookies, roughly crushed
200 gr./ 7.05 oz. peanut chocolate candies or unsalted peanuts (optional)

For chocolate ganache

150 gr./5.29 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
100 gr. / 3.53 oz. heavy cream

For decoration

Chocolate balls/ sprinkles/ chocolate sprinkles / chocolate flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

To make the cake

Melt the milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and peanut butter in a pan over medium low heat until the chocolate is fully melted. Add the honey, heavy cream and stir to make sure all the ingredients are well mixed together. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add peanut chocolate candies or peanuts to the biscuits and mix well. Pour the chocolate over the biscuits and stir until they’re covered.

Line a 18 cm/7″ round cake tin or a 2lb loaf tin with a double layer of plastic wrap.

Pour/spoon the mixture into the loaf pan and smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set.

To make the chocolate ganache

In a small saucepan, bring the cream to a boil. Remove from the heat add the semi-sweet chocolate and combine until smooth.

Pour chocolate ganache over the chocolate biscuit cake. Decorate with sprinkles and leave to set aside.  Store in the fridge for a few days in an airtight container.
