Burger Buns

These buns are the perfect way to enjoy all of your favorite burgers. With this easy and tasty recipe you can make Burger Buns in your own kitchen that are one thousand times better than anything store-bought.

 INGREDIENTS

180 gr./ 6.35 oz. warm milk
30 gr./ 1.05 oz. butter, at room temperature
1 large egg
450 gr./ 15.9 oz. all-purpose flour
2 ½ tablespoons sugar
1 ¼  teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon instant yeast
melted butter for brushing the buns

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix and knead all of the dough ingredients by hand or mixer to make soft and smooth dough.

Cover the dough, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it’s nearly doubled in bulk.

Gently deflate the dough and divide it into 8 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and flatten to about 3 inches/ 7.5 cm across. Place the buns on a lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover and let rise for about 40-60 minutes or until noticeably puffy.

Brush the buns with melted butter. Bake the buns in a preheated 375°F/ 190°C oven for 15 to 18 minutes until golden.  Remove them from the oven and brush them again with butter.
