Homemade Burgers

Place the ground meat in a bowl.

Add all the ingredients to the beef and knead with your hands until all the ingredients are well mixed and blended with the meat for about 5 minutes.

Cover the bowl and let the meat sit in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Preheat oven to 375℉/ 190℃ fan.

Remove the beef 10 minutes before cooking. Form in 8 patties and flatten them. Place them on a rimmed baking sheet that is lined with parchment paper. Roast for 30-40 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with cheese.

Meanwhile slice, and prepare all of your burger toppings and sauces.

Pre-heat a fry pan over medium-high heat. Add bacon to pan and cook until the bacon starts to brown on one side. Flip the bacon and cook the other side too.

Spread the cut-side of the buns with the sauce of your choice. Arrange 2 lettuce leaves on the bottoms of each hamburger bun and place the patties on top. Top with bacon, tomato and red onion. Place the top bun on each burger and serve it immediately.
